Stones and Bricks Hurled by Rioters in Sambhal will be used for Building Police Outposts

Sambhal (Uttar Pradesh) – Stones and bricks hurled by rioters at Police are being used for building the foundation of Police outposts. The stones pelted by Muslim protesters during the violent riots in Sambhal are being used to build 38 Police posts. The rioters are attending court pleading for bail; but the court has declined any respite for them. (CM Yogi Adityanath needs to be praised for giving an apt reply to the rioters. People from other States should learn from this example and try to elect a patriotic and devout Chief Minister like Yogi Adityanath in their States. – Editor)  

Sambhal Superintendent of Police (SP) Krishna Kumar stated that the stones pelted by rioters are being used in the foundation of Police posts. Police have undertaken a drive of ‘Safe Sambhal’ in every district with the help of respective administrations. Cameras are fitted at the expenditure of Rs 3 crore for multiple face recognition and 600 such cameras have been fitted in Sambhal so far which will help to identify every person.

On 05.03.2025, 14 rioters applied in court for bail. Hearing in 4 cases has been postponed while bail applications of 10 rioters have been dismissed.

Islamic extremists had resorted to violence during the survey of Shahi Jama Masjid at Sambhal on 24.11.2024. They had hurled stones and bricks at the Police and vandalised many vehicles. There was firing at the place of incident leading to death of four persons.

Police should create such an impression that rioter would not dare to even pick up a stone.
