Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) – The Gujarat Police have arrested three individuals for allegedly selling videos and photographs of women bathing at the Mahakumbha in Prayagraj through social media. Among those arrested is a YouTuber from Prayagraj named Chandra Prakash, who runs a channel called ‘CP Monda.’ Objectionable videos of women bathing were seized from him. Along with him, Prajwal Teli from Latur, Maharashtra and Praj Patil from Sangli have also been arrested. To make money, they also obtained and uploaded obscene videos of female patients at a hospital in Rajkot on Telegram.
How they operated:
According to the Police, some hackers illegally accessed the CCTV system of the hospital and recorded videos of female patients. Prajwal and Praj acquired these recordings and sold them online for ₹800 to ₹2,000 each. Over the past 7-8 months, the duo earned ₹8-9 lakh through this illegal activity. Around 2,000 videos have been seized from them. Prajwal and Praj are known to each other.
