DNA – ‘Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid,’ the component in the body that determines a person’s fundamental identity.
New Delhi – “A few weeks ago, I underwent genetic sequencing and a DNA test. Through this test, I discovered that my DNA is Indian,” stated Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. President Prabowo was invited as the Chief Guest for India’s Republic Day celebrations. A banquet in his honour was hosted by India’s President Droupadi Murmu, where President Prabowo made this statement.
Names in Indonesia are actually Sanskrit names
President Prabowo further said, “When I hear Indian music, I immediately start dancing; everyone knows this. India and Indonesia share a long and ancient history. Our cultures are deeply connected. Even today, a significant portion of our language comes from Sanskrit. Many names in Indonesia are, in fact, Sanskrit names, and the influence of ancient Indian culture in our daily lives is still profound. I believe this is also a part of our genetics.”
