Mumbai – BMC took action against illegal Madarasa and demolishes it at Pailipada in Chembur-Trombay area. This action against the illegal construction was taken due to the follow-up of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). It had been constructed under the name of ‘Darul Uloom Faizan E Raza’.
The Village Committee of Pailipada had been complaining against the Madarasa to BMC, since 2020. Yet, BMC had not taken any action. Taking advantage of this, a man named Sharafat Khan added four more illegal floors to the construction and even got a water pipeline connection from BMC. Why didn’t the BMC oppose the illegal madrasa while it was being constructed?
Why did the VHP have to follow up for action to be taken? Action should also… pic.twitter.com/vlc0GWlucJ

The Pailipada Village Committee requested VHP for assistance in this matter. On behalf of VHP, Advocate Anoop Pal filed a complaint with the Assistant Commissioner of BMC, to enquire into the matter. After this, the BMC administration demolished the illegal construction of the Madarasa.
Editorial PerspectiveWhy did BMC not oppose when the illegal Madarasa was being constructed ? Why was it necessary for VHP to follow-up in the matter ? Action must be taken against the negligent officers in this case. |
