Mumbai – Three different groups were found distributing pamphlets of Jesus Christ at Bhandup (West). When local devout Hindu Pramod Kate realised this, he stopped 2 groups from distributing pamphlets, but the third group had minor boys and girls along with a young lady. The Christian girls in this group refused to stop pamphlet distribution. When asked to submit the pamphlets and leave, the Christian girls did not agree. In the meantime, a huge crowd gathered around, and the third group also had to surrender the pamphlets and leave. (A commendable attempt of Pramod Kate to stop the pamphlets of religious conversion – Editor).
Pramod Kate said, “It has to be investigated if these groups had taken permission to distribute these pamphlets. It is not correct to use minors to distribute pamphlets meant for religious conversion. The pamphlet claims that the Jesus Christ cures ailments. It is speading superstition. It is completely unacceptable.”
Editorial PerspectiveTo stop the increasing audacity of Christians, it is necessary to introduce an anti-religious conversion law. |
