
Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh) – 50 people were injured in a fire due to a torch march held here. There was also a stampede due to the fire. This incident took place on the night of 28th November.
This torch march was held against terrorism. Rashtrabhakt Veer Yuva Manch had taken out this torch march under the leadership of pro-Hindu leader Ashok Paliwal. BJP MLA from Bhagyanagar T. Raja Singh and Supreme Court Advocate Nazia Khan, spokesperson of Bengal BJP, spoke. As the march was ending at Ghanta Ghar Chowk, some torches were overturned. It caused a fire. The torch contained wood shavings and camphor powder, which further fuelled the fire. Some people were injured. He was admitted to the hospital.
