Canadian PM Justin Trudeau will fall in the next election : Elon Musk

Washington (USA) – Tesla CEO Elon Musk who is close to US President-elect Donald Trump and has been a Trump supporter in this election has set his sights on Canada’s political future, confidently predicting the end of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s tenure in the upcoming federal election. “He will be gone in the upcoming election,” Musk posted on X, responding to growing calls for a shift in leadership as Trudeau’s minority Government faces mounting opposition.

Although Trudeau’s Liberal Party presently controls 153 of the 338 parliamentary seats, there is a noticeable sense of discontent among party members and people alike.

Trudeau, who has been Canada’s prime minister since 2015, is currently facing a tough test. Pressure is mounting on Trudeau, who runs a minority government in Canada.

Currently, Trudeau’s Liberal Party has 153 of the 338 members of the Canadian Parliament. Pro-Khalistan Jagmeet Singh’s New Democratic Party (NDP) recently withdrew its support for Trudeau.

In the next election, the Prime Minister of Canada will have to fight with the main opposition parties, the Conservative Party and the NDP. Most polls show Trudeau’s Liberal Party trailing.

The stakes are high for Trudeau as Canada prepares for its next election, and Musk’s prediction only adds to the scrutiny Trudeau faces from both domestic and international critics. Just last month, a group of 24 party MPs demanded Trudeau’s resignation and were given until 28th October. With political and diplomatic tensions rising, Trudeau’s leadership stands at a critical juncture ahead of 2025.
