Ahmedabad (Gujarat) – Some forces outside and inside the country are working to destabilise the country. Naxalism is dying out in the jungles, but urban Naxals are now on the rise. While speaking in Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that urban Naxals should be identified and exposed. He also participated in the National Unity Day parade organised on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Prime Minister paid floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat. In his speech, Prime Minister Modi warned the masters of terrorism without naming neighbouring Pakistan.
Prime Minister Modi said,
1. Today we are seeing India that has vision, direction and determination, that is strong and inclusive, also sensitive and alert, which is humble and also on the path of development.
2. North East India faced many challenges; But we extinguished the fires of alienation through communication, trust and development.
3. Today Naxalism is also taking its last breath in India due to tireless efforts of the last 10 years.
