Washington (USA) – ‘There is a need to dismantle the espionage network established under the leadership of Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Verma in Canada. Verma is more of a hypocrite than a diplomat. The Indian consulates in Vancouver and Toronto are centres of espionage. Until these two consulates are permanently shut down, they will continue to kill and challenge Canada’s sovereignty’, Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said in an interview with CTV News.

This interview took place after India withdrew its diplomats from Canada. Following the investigation into the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Canadian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma was targeted and ordered to leave Canada. Earlier, on 20thOctober, former Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma also spoke to CTV, where he said that the Trudeau Government has consistently encouraged Khalistani terrorists.

While threatening India, Pannun said, ‘We will continue our campaign for a referendum on Khalistan. We are not afraid of anything. More evidence of India’s involvement in the Nijjar murder case will emerge’.

Editorial Perspectives

  • On one hand, the US wants to befriend India, while on the other, it supports anti-Indian citizens in its own country, displaying hypocrisy. India must expose such treacherous behaviour of the US on the global stage !
  • Just as Pakistan has nurtured anti-Indian terrorists, the US and Canada are supporting Pannun, which means India needs to adopt a tougher stance against this !
