Hindu organisations enraged over a Shimla hotel for serving beef during Navaratri

Charges against Raees Khan and Rizwan from Kashmir

Police complaint filed over allegations of beef being served at a hotel in Shimla

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) – The controversy over illegal mosques here is far from over, but now the atmosphere has heated up due to allegations of beef being served to customers in a hotel here. The matter came to light on October 5, when staunch Hindu leader Kamal Gautam aired 2 videos through ‘X’. He claimed beef is being cooked and served during Navaratri at the ‘Home Stay Raj Villa’ hotel. Raees Khan and Rizwan, who belong to the Muslim community, are employees there and have been accused of this. These two are said to be residents of Kashmir. Hindu organisations are angry over this incident. Seeing the growing opposition, Raees and Rizwan are fired from their jobs by the hotel owner.

Kamal Gautam said that the hotel ‘Home Stay Raj Villa’ is near Shimla’s old bus station. A Hindu employee of this hotel has filed a complaint with the Police. Some people from the Muslim community bring beef to the hotel and eat it, the complaint said. The Police are investigating further in this matter.
