Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) – There is a temple of Deity Chamunda in a village called Paigambarpur Sukhbasilal in the District, which is a key place of worship for Hindus in the area. Two burqa clad women and an unknown man have thrown meat in the temple. The angry villagers have demanded strict action in this matter saying that this hurts their religious sentiments. Bajrang Dal activists have protested the incident. The Police have registered a crime and started investigation in this case.

On August 16, pieces of meat were found in front of the idol of Shri Chamunda at the temple. The meat is reportedly chicken. It is said that bells were stolen from this temple earlier and idols were also broken.

The video of this incident was widely circulated on social media. The video shows blood splattered on the ground along with pieces of chicken at the main entrance of the temple.

  • When there is BJP Government in Uttar Pradesh, how the religious fanatics dare to engage in such anti-Hindu acts ?
