New Delhi – “Once Bangladesh had a Hindu population of 32%, which has now reduced to 8%. If they too are attacked, then the world needs to think. There has to be intervention. India is a neighbouring country. It is our responsibility; we cannot turn blind eyes at this. The Indian Government should take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of the Hindus in Bangladesh. The interim Government in Bangladesh should perform its duty towards its people. This is what we expect,” stated Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International President Alok Kumar.
Alok Kumar added that the Sheikh Hassina Government has collapsed, and she had to flee the country. The purpose of the agitation was fulfilled. But some members of the ISI want to turn this agitation against the minorities. To achieve this, they have begun damaging and destroying office buildings, houses, and temples of the minorities in all the Districts of Bangladesh. 2 Hindu corporators have been killed, Kali temple has been set on fire and vandalised. ISKCON temple too has been set on fire. This is not good.

It has become equally necessary that Hindu Organisations create pressure on the Indian Government. Not only the Hindus of Bangladesh, but even Hindus in India should be protected. |
