
New Delhi – The Government of India has announced an aid of USD 5 mn (Rs 42 crore) to the ‘United Nations Relief and Works Agency’ for the year 2024-25 to assist Palestinian refugees. The first installment of USD 2.5 mn has been sent already. The Government of India had provided USD 3.5 mn to Palestine for the year 2023-24. Funds for financial aid are not delivered directly to Palestine, but to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.
