Islamic radicals plot to kill the judge who ordered the survey of Gyanvapi

Demand to increase the security of judges !

Varanasi (UP) – Additional Sessions Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar, who ordered the survey in the Gyanvapi case, is receiving threats from Islamic radicals. A plot is being hatched to kill him. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has said that the security of Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar is inadequate and needs to be increased.

Ravi Kumar Diwakar is Additional Sessions Judge at Bareilly. In 2022, he permitted the Archaeological Survey of India to carry out a scientific survey of Gyanvapi. A few days ago a terrorist identified as Adnan Khan had threatened him. The NIA has said that Islamic radicals are plotting to kill him. Owing to this, Special Judge Vivekanand Sharan Tripathi of NIA Court has written to the Registrar General of Allahabad High Court and demanded to increase the security of Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar.

The Anti-Terrorism Squad of Uttar Pradesh registered a case against Adnan Khan on 3^rdJune 2024. Judge Diwakar had also written to the Senior Superintendent of Police of Bareilly that he was receiving threats from international mobile numbers. His family has also been threatened with death.
