Prayagraj, 11th January – For security reasons, 2,750 CCTV cameras have been installed on all roads, important places, important religious places etc. in the Kumbha Mela. An ‘Integrated Control Command Centre’ (ICCC) has been created to control all these CCTV cameras. (ICCC means a room set up to handle the situation in case of a disaster at a place.)
Four ‘Integrated Control and Command Centres’ (ICCC) with a seating capacity of 52 have been created. 268 crowded places like Triveni Sangam, Akshayvat, Sri Lete Maruti etc. have been identified and ‘video analytics’ have been installed at those places. This will enable all-round filming of the crowd. 108 CCTV cameras have also been installed at the parking lot to take pictures of the vehicle registration numbers.
