London, UK – British Security recently claimed that Houthi rebels attacked a merchant ship in the Gulf of Aden near Yemen with a missile. The attack resulted in the vessel catching fire. This attack is from Yemen and it is suspected that Houthi rebels are behind it. Britain’s Maritime Trade Operations said the ship’s captain informed them of the incident. Houthi rebels have been targeting merchant ships in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea for the past several months. The Houthi rebels are carrying out these attacks against Israel’s invasion of Gaza and in support of the Palestinians.
