Since the hands of the judiciary are tied by the Constitution, the judiciary cannot go beyond the Constitution. Hence the Central Government should take the initiative to bring a Uniform Civil Code and provide equal justice to all.

Hard to get the bill passed in the Senate
The Supreme Court has upheld the powers of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to make arrests under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The Court gave this decision while hearing petitions challenging the constitutional rights under PMLA.
