Chandrayaan-3 enters the lunar orbit
Today, the Chandrayaan-3 mission achieved a crucial milestone with the successful completion of the Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI).

The spacecraft will land on the Moon on 23rd August 2023 by 5.00 p.m. as informed by ISRO scientists. In 2019, ‘Chandrayaan 2’ could not land on the Moon successfully.

India will become the fourth country in the world, to send a spacecraft to the moon and the first country, to reach the south pole of the moon.
