Jerusalem (Israel) – 7 aid workers from the Charitable World Central Kitchen fleet were killed in an Israeli attack on Gaza Strip on 2 nd April night. They were the citizens of Australia. Britain, Poland, and the US. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that it was an unfortunate tragic accident. Our forces inadvertently killed support workers on the Gaza Strip. The army made a mistake. We are deeply saddened by this attack. Support workers lost their lives, but all this is common during war. In future, we will ensure that not a single innocent life is lost. We will investigate the matter.
Israel deeply regrets the tragic incident which claimed the lives of seven humanitarian aid workers.
Our hearts go out to their families and to their home countries.
The IDF is conducting a swift and transparent investigation and we will make our findings public.

1.The Founder of Charitable World Central Kitchen Chef Jose Andres said, the support workers were in an armoured vehicle with a logo of the Charitable Organisation. They had already informed the Israeli army about their arrival. Despite this, the army attacked them.
2.US President, Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese and British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak have condemned Israel for this attack. According to the UN, 196 support workers have been killed in the war so far.
