Yaqub Khan and family’s Ghar-Wapasi to Hindu Dharma to ‘redress the mistake of ancestors’

The rituals took place at Alirajpur (MP) on the day of Shriram Temple inauguration

Bhopal (MP) – Yaqub Khan and his family have again accepted Hindu Dharma. On 22nd January, the day of Pranapratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, a programme was organised at Alirajpur, where they accepted Hindu Dharma. After the rituals, Yaqub said, “I am trying to redress the mistakes of my ancestors. I always had faith in Sanatan Hindu Dharma. I have accepted Hindu Dharma voluntarily.”

He got the opportunity to return to Hindu Dharma with the help of local devout Hindu activists. His name is changed to Rajkumar, his daughter retains her name Karishma and the son Shahrukh has got his name changed to Subhash.

Yaqub aka Rajkumar’s wife, Sharada, is originally a Hindu. After marriage, they followed Hindu traditions. Their two daughters are married into Hindu families.
