Iran is heating up matters in South and Central Asia : USA

Washington (USA) – ‘The US is currently monitoring the conflict between Iran and Pakistan. We wish to de-escalate the tensions in South and Central Asia. For that, we are in touch with the Pakistani authorities. The recent attack on Pakistan by Iran shows an intent to increase the instability of the region, stated the USA. United Nations Chief Antonio Guterres also expressed concern over the airstrikes from both countries. He said that he has appealed to both sides to establish peace.

China ready to mediate

China has shown an intent to mediate peace between the two countries. Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning said, “We hope that both countries work towards making strong efforts to resolve this issue. If the two countries wish to negotiate, then we are ready to initiate the process. The tension between the two countries should be resolved based on UN resolutions and international laws.”
