Ayodhya – Shriram devotees have flocked from all over the country to take Darshan of Deity Shriram before the pran-pratishtha ceremony. Only the invitees can attend the pran-pratishtha ceremony to be held on 22nd January, but permission has been granted to ordinary devotees to take Shriram Lalla’s Darshan before the pran-pratishtha. Thousands of devotees from distant areas of the country reached Ayodhya on 18th January and had Darshan. On one side the construction of Shriram Temple is on a war footing, while on the other side, thousands of devotees are reaching every day for Darshan of Shriram Lalla. On 18th January, ordinary citizens were permitted entry to Shriram Janmabhoomi between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Not even a comb was allowed into Shriram Janmabhoomi
The Police and other security forces are completely cooperating with the devotees coming for Darshan to Shriram Janmabhoomi; but for security reasons, carrying a pen, comb, bracelet or bangles etc. are prohibited in the Shriram Janmabhoomi. Not to deprive any devotee of Shriram Lalla’s Darshan due to security reasons, ‘lockers’ are provided at the entrance, so that devotees can keep their restricted belongings in the locker and enter for Shriram Lalla’s Darshan.
Langars arranged for devotees at many places
Thousands of devotees have arrived in Ayodhya. Numerous temple trusts and devotees across the country have arranged free ‘langars’ for them. Arrangements have been made here for breakfast, lunch and dinner for thousands of devotees.
