Smuggled items worth Rs 69,76,000 seized
Nagpur – Shabbir Khan (Age 30) and Munawwar Khan (age 28) were arrested for secretly smuggling 500 kg of illegal Ganja through a separate compartment in the container of the truck. Ganja worth Rs 69,76,000 has been seized from them. This happened on the night of 11th January. Vehicle owner Hafeez Jume Khan and another accused are absconding. A case has been registered against the accused and Police are searching for them. (Please note that religious fanatics are always ahead in committing crimes – Editor). The Police found something hidden in plastic bags in the truck. Later they found Ganja in it. This Ganja was being transported from Visakhapatnam to Bihar.
