New Delhi – To avenge the 2002 riots in Gujarat, ISIS Pune division was planning terror attacks in Gujarat. This information has been obtained from the interrogation of Shahnawaz Alam, an ISIS terrorist arrested a few months ago. According to him, the cities of Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat in Gujarat were the targets.

Shahnawaz said that two ISIS terrorists had travelled to Ahmedabad from Pune to conduct research. They stayed there for two days. They visited the railway stations, theatres, universities, auditoriums, mosques, Sabarmati Ashram, Courts of law, RSS and Vishwa Hindu Parishad offices and other public places and collected information. They took pictures and made videos there. After that they returned. After receiving orders from their superior in Pakistan, Abu Sulaiman, they were to decide how to carry out the attacks.

Editorial Perspective

The religious fanatics are still trying to avenge the riots that happened 20 years ago due to burning Karsevaks to death. If Hindus try to avenge like this, 365 days of the year will not be enough ! But as the Hindus are tolerant and law abiding, they fight legally against the injustice.
