If it is wrong to call the country ‘Hindu Rashtra’, it will be wrong to call the State ‘Karnataka’

Pejawar Muth Seer Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swami

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – If Shriram Mandir is to be preserved, India must become a ‘Hindu Rashtra’. If a Kannada majority State is called ‘Karnataka’, why Hindu majority India should not be called a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ ? Udupi’s Pejawar Muth’s Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji raised the question. Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji was speaking on a television channel about the Hindu Rashtra being discussed as the Pranpratishthapan of Shri Ramlalla is scheduled at the Shriram Mandir in Ayodhya. Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji is also a member of ‘Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust’.

Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji further said,

1. Karnataka is a State with a Kannada-speaking majority. This is the place where the Kannada language was born and grew. What is wrong in calling a Hindu majority country a ‘Hindu Rashtra’? If this were a mistake, it would also be a mistake to say ‘Karnataka’.

2. Pilgrimage areas where Hindus perform daily rituals should be developed. After the Independence of India, the religious areas of the Hindus should also have been liberated; but our religious spheres remained the same. 75 years have passed since Independence, but these are not free. We need to get back to our places of faith.

3. Like the decision in Ayodhya, the Court has also shown favour to Kashi and Mathura. We heartily welcome this decision of the Court. This work should not stop until the goal is achieved. We do not take any territory by force. In a democratic nation, we are working based on the Constitution. Everyone should support this. Do not oppose.

This country belongs to many, not only Hindus – Siddaramaiah

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah opposes Swamiji’s statement !

In the statement of Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji about Hindu Rashtra, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is the ideology of BJP. Our country is not a nation of Hindus. It is a country of many. It is not possible to make our country Hindu Rashtra.

It is not right for Siddaramaiah to oppose Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji’s statement – Former Minister Pramod Madhwaraj

Former minister of Karnataka Pramod Madhwaraj said that Hindus are the majority in this country. Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji of Pejawar Muth is the guide of the Hindu community. The Constitution has given freedom of speech to all. Therefore, it is not right for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to oppose Swamiji’s statement. Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha Swamiji has expressed his opinion.
