More than 500 ‘Varkari’ attend the Convention at Alandi to create awareness towards Dharma

Alandi (Dist Pune) – ‘Dharma-Peeth’ has to keep a check on leaders when they go wrong. It is necessary to have control of the power of Dharma over the power of Rulers. Ramrajya will be established in India when the power of Dharma and the power of Rulers unite, stated H.H. Shri Amrutashram Swami Maharaj (Dandi Swami) while addressing the 17th Varkari Convention held at Shri Devidas Dharmashala and late Mamasaheb Dandekar Smruti Mandir in Gopalpura, Alandi on the 9th of December 2023. The Convention has been held under the auspices of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Rashtriya Vaarkari Parishad, Varkari Sampradaya, and the chairmanship of H.H. Amrutashram Swami Maharaj (Dandi Swami). Many dignitaries, Saints, Mahant, Ha. Bha. Pa., Dharmacharyas, chiefs of pro-Hindu organisations addressed the Convention. It was unanimously resolved to boycott Halal certified products and extend solid support to devout Hindu activists falsely implicated in different cases and fight against injustice done to them.

We will have to unite and awaken the Government when any organisation working for the protection of Dharma is being brought into trouble ! – H.H. Shri Amrutashram Swami Maharaj 

H.H. Shri Amrutashram Swami Maharaj (Dandi Swami) said further, “We will have to take an active part in matters related to the ban on cow/cattle slaughter, Love Jihad, the law against the conversion of religion, cleaning of River Indrayani, etc. and take up these issues at District, Taluka levels by submitting memoranda. We will have to unite and awaken the Government when any organisation working for the protection of Dharma is being brought into trouble. Every participant can spontaneously support all resolutions passed in this Convention and reach our voice to the Government.”

Ha. Bha. Pa. Niranjan Shastri Kothekar of Devidas Dharmashala gave an introductory speech while Ha. Bha. Pa. Nivrutti Maharaj Hallalikar compeered the programme. Ha. Bha. Pa. Akshaya Maharaj Bhosale, the regional President of ‘Dharmaveer Adhyatmik Sena’ said that all resolutions presented in the Convention would be promptly sent to Government for necessary action and followed up.
