Saint Bhaktaraj Maharaj’s Mahanirvan fest celebrated at Kandali, Pune, in a Bhav-enriched environment

Junnar (Pune) – Amid the chants of Hari Om Tatsat, the Mahanirvan fest of Sanatan Sanstha’s seat of faith Saint Bhaktaraj Maharaj (Baba) was celebrated on Kartik Krishna Navami, i.e. 6th December 2023, at His samadhi (shrine) place at Kandali in Junnar Taluka of Pune District. Various events were organised on the 5th and 6th of December on behalf of Shri Ramchandra Dev Trust and Saint Bhaktaraj Maharaj Samadhi Trust.

On the morning of 5th December, the regular pooja of Baba’s Samadhi was performed. Later, Omkar Sunil Gunjal, a preacher from Kandali, delivered a spiritual discourse on Dnyaneshwar Maharaj. Bhandara was held in the afternoon. In the evening, the procession of the palanquin of Baba’s image and His Padukas was carried out from the ‘6 Acre’ area to the Samadhi temple of Baba. Samadhi was worshipped in the evening. After Mahaprasad in the night, Tanmay Joshi (Disciple of Anil Kunte) played flute and Bhagyesh More played tabla (Indian musical instrument) in the programme Bhajan Sandhya. Following that, the devotees present sang Baba’s bhajans.

Pooja and Abhishek of Baba’s Samadhi ! 

Deepotsav was held from 3 to 4 am on 6th December. Following that Baba’s samadhi was worshipped and an abhishek was performed, and devotees sang Baba’s bhajans. The fest concluded after Bhandara in the afternoon. On this occasion, many devotees of Baba including His son H.H. Nandudada Kasrekar, (Dr) Mrs Kunda Jayant Athavale, and Saint H.H. Ramprabhu Maharaj from Nashik were present.
