Mumbai – Increasing pollution is resulting in people facing various health problems. Against this background, ‘Pristyn Care’ a company, providing health services to people, has informed that as per their survey conducted with 4,000 citizens, six out of ten citizens from metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi are thinking of migrating to other places.
Many people said that they stopped going for morning walks due to pollution in the air while 90% of the people informed that they have developed respiratory problems; besides having cough, sore throat, watering eyes, feeling uneasy, asthma, etc. These problems become severe, especially in winter, due to a decline in the air quality index.
About 30% of citizens of Delhi have started using face masks and 27% of people of Delhi and Mumbai have started using ‘air-purifiers’. 43% of citizens claimed to have reduced immunity.
