No deal between Hamas and Israel : Israel

Tel Aviv (Israel) – Speaking during a press conference with Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and Minister Benny Gantz, Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Concerning the hostages, there are many unsubstantiated rumours, many incorrect reports. I would like to make it clear: As of now, there has been no deal.

He, however, assured that “when there is something to say – we will report to you about it”. That statement triggered the rumours of a cease-fire between Hamas and Israel. However, right from the beginning, Israel has made it clear that, until Israeli hostages are freed from Hamas and Hamas is destroyed, war will go on.

“Until now in the war, we have achieved much: We have eliminated thousands of terrorists. We have eliminated senior commanders. We have destroyed administrative centres. We have destroyed tunnels – and we continue. We will continue onward with full force,” Netanyahu said. He also thanked the USA for helping with crucial weapons and protection to Israel.

War will not end until the root cause is wiped out – Joe Biden

An article in the local newspaper about US President Joe Biden states, “As long as Hamas clings to its ideology of destruction, a cease-fire is not possible. Hamas terrorists exploit cease-fire to rebuild their stockpile of rockets, fighters planes, Armaments and restart the killing by attacking innocents again, “Biden wrote in the piece for The Washington Post, adding, “Our goal should not be simply to stop the war for today — it should be to end the war forever, break the cycle of unceasing violence, and build something stronger in Gaza and across the Middle East so that history does not keep repeating itself. We are trying to establish peace by bringing Gaza and the West Bank under one rule, which is possible under Palestinian authority.”
