Varanasi (UP) – In Varanasi’s Banaras Hindu University the communists protested and shouted anti-Hindu slogans and even slogans about obtaining freedom. Some students have filed complaints against this with the Police. On the basis of the complaint, the Police have filed cases against some people. The students, who came to stop the sloganeering, were attacked by the culprits. The attacked students said that some communist students had been agitating on the University campus for the past 2 days. Some outsiders too were participating in this agitation. These people were shouting slogans of ‘Azadi’ and ‘will dig the grave of Hindutava’. A video is going viral in which the agitators are seen shouting ‘Modi-Yogi Murdabad’ in front of the Police. (It is expected that the University authorities will take strict action against these anti-national students – Editor).

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has put up a video on the incident on social media and alleged that a communist student had tried to throttle a female security guard. The complaining students said that they were dragged and beaten up. They hurled caste-based abuses towards Dalit youths. The Police are currently carrying out their investigation.
