New Delhi – 11 Muslims who were arrested in connection with the brutal killing of a Hindu youth in Dilbar Negi, in the riots that took place in 2020, were acquitted by the Delhi High Court, while Mohammad Shahnawaz was not allowed to be released. The names of these Muslims are Mohammed Faisal, Azad, Asraf Ali, Rashid (Monu), Shah Rukh, Mohammed Shoaib (Chhutwa), Parvez, Rashid (Raja), Mohammed Tahir, Salman and Sonu Saifi. The Hindu youth was working in a sweets shop in Negi when his hands and feet were chopped off in this very shop and he was then burnt alive.

Mohammad Shahnawaz has been accused of murder, rioting, gathering mob

While giving the verdict Judge Pulastya Pramachal said that the accused had been identified in several videos of the riots. However, they were not seen with Shahnawaz when he was setting fire to the sweet shop godown. Evidence has been found against Shahnawaz of destroying houses, shops, etc. of Hindus and setting them on fire with the help of a mob.

If these accused are innocent, then which religious fanatics killed the Hindu youth? Who will investigate this now?
