M.K. Gandhi had asked Indians to fight on behalf of Britain in the World War 1

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri’s Statement!

New Delhi – We all are the followers of M Gandhi who is known as the Father of the Nation. He played a major role in nation-building and in the movement of the elite to the people of the country, but I want to say that M Gandhi was a very complex person. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that while in Britain, he had talked about sending Indians to help Britain in World War 1. He was speaking at the book launch event of journalist and Prasar Bharati Board member Ashok Tandon’s book ‘The Reverse Swing – Colonialism to Cooperation’ referring to the book’s chapter ‘Mahatma Gandhi – Messenger of Peace for Britain’.

Puri further said that M Gandhi’s early life and education predisposed him to become an Advocate of the English style. After moving to South Africa, he became known as Gandhi who contributed to the National Movement.

Britain has never apologised for Jallianwala Bagh !

Referring to a chapter written by the book’s author Ashok Tandon on Jallianwala Bagh, Puri said that everyone from the Queen of Britain to the Prime Minister has expressed grief over the incident, but to date, they have never apologised officially for the incident.

Editorial Perspective

If we study the entire biography of Mohandas Gandhi, it will be clear that he helped the British and Muslims from time to time and deceived Hindus.
