New Delhi – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met and held discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi against the backdrop of the G20 conference. At that time, Prime Minister Modi asked Canada to take strict measures to prevent attacks by Khalistanis on the Indian High Commission, consulates, and Hindu temples. Prime Minister Modi made Trudeau aware that such incidents should be prevented as India and Canada relations are harmed due to the activities of Khalistanis. The Ministry of External Affairs of India has issued a press release in this regard. It says that the Government of India condemns the policy of the Trudeau Government in Canada.

Inappropriate actions of a few do not represent the entire community : Justin Trudeau
| Editorial Viewpoint
Even if this is true, why doesn’t Trudeau talk about Canada not taking any action against those ‘few’ ? |
After meeting Prime Minister Modi, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau said that Canada will always defend the freedom of peaceful protest and will always be there to push back against hatred. Everyone cannot be dealt with in the same manner due to the inappropriate actions of some people. We take such incidents seriously. Our Government will never encourage Khalistani terrorism. The actions of a few do not represent the entire community or Canada. (Trudeau should also tell why he hasn’t acted yet on what he claims. – Editor) Trudeau said that India is an extraordinarily important economy in the world.
