World congratulates India on the success of Chandrayan-3

New Delhi – The successful landing of Chandrayan-3 has garnered commendations and well-wishes for India from around the world. Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his congratulations to Indian President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, lauding it as a significant achievement in the realm of science and technology.

US Vice-President Kamala Harris also offered her congratulations to India, recognising the remarkable feat of reaching the Moon’s South Pole. She commended the dedication of the scientists and engineers who contributed to this extraordinary accomplishment and expressed pride in being associated with this achievement.

The US Space Research Institute NASA joined the chorus of congratulations, hailing India as the fourth nation to successfully land on the Moon. NASA expressed its pleasure in collaborating with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) by providing vital instruments for distance measurement and communication support.

The British Space Research Association (UKSA) emphasised that India has etched its name in history, celebrating the grand triumph in the field of science.

The Australian Space Agency acknowledged that ISRO’s landing of Chandrayan-3 on the Moon’s South Pole will enhance humanity’s comprehension of the lunar landscape. They extended their congratulations to ISRO for this achievement.

Israel’s Ambassador to India, Naor Gillan, conveyed warm felicitations to ISRO and India, emphasising the incomparable nature of Chandrayan-3’s success. He noted that no other country had reached the Moon’s South Pole, making India’s achievement both inspiring and groundbreaking.

NP Soud, the Foreign Minister of Nepal, congratulated India on the successful Chandrayan-3 mission, describing it as a moment of national pride for India and a pivotal milestone in the advancement of science and technology. He believed that this accomplishment would contribute to enhancing lives.

Abdulla Shahid, the Foreign Minister of the Maldives, celebrated India’s historic achievement and expressed pride in being India’s neighbour.

He viewed this success as a triumph for all of humanity and a catalyst for new opportunities in space research, extending heartfelt congratulations to India for making history.
