New York (US) – Recently a survey was conducted to learn what percentage of citizens in the various countries believe in God (are theist). The result of the survey was put up on the Twitter handle of ‘The World of Statistics’. Indonesia is on top of the list having 93% of its population believing in God. Then Turkey with 91%, Brazil with 84%, South Africa with 83%, in the 2nd to 4th place and Mexico a South-American country in the 5th place with 78% theists. According to the survey, India comes in the 8th place with only 56% of its citizens believing in God.

The low percentage of theists in India is mainly because of Hindus only. It is the misfortune that Hindus themselves have deprived themselves with the knowledge about Hindu Dharma that teaches humans to attain eternal Bliss. Please note that this is the result of Hindu Dharma not being taught by none of the Governments since Independence and lack of education on Dharma among Hindus. |
