In this independent India, the time has come when it cannot be said that the life of a common Hindu is safe. There is no guarantee that a loved one who has gone out for work will return home safely at night.
Such a time is not a distant possibility now. |
1. The impotency of Hindus who cannot protect their Hindu brethren
In the National capital Delhi, a Muslim youth named Sahil killed a teenage girl (Sakshi) in a manner that would shame even a demon. This brutal killing in broad daylight in Delhi showed the complete breakdown of the citizen’s will to resist such brutality. However, this impotence displayed by Indian citizens is not at all new.
A. Some years ago, a woman was burnt alive in broad daylight in Mumbai. No one came to her rescue.
B. Amrita Deshpande’s intestines were pulled out in broad daylight in Sangli, Maharashtra. Even then, no one came forward to save her.
C. Rinku Patil, a student appearing for Class 10th examination, was burnt alive in the examination hall. Many men were present on the spot at that time; but, not one came forward to protect her.
D. A woman was molested in a Mumbai local. There were many men in the compartment; but, none had the courage to protect her. The same has happened in Delhi now.
E. Even though we know that the feeling – ‘all religions teach the same’ – is an illusion, we remain mute. It has come to light that the Delhi incident on 29th May is a ‘Love Jihad’ case.
2. Does anyone have any answers ?
A. CCTV footage clearly shows that Sahil is killing a minor girl named Sakshi. Will this demon be punished immediately ?
B. Will compassion be shown to learn his side of the story – of one who is the epitome of brutality ?
C. Will he get a chance to change for the better ?
D. Will there be debates on how many more people should he be allowed to murder ?
E. Will there be an attempt to prove him innocent ?
F. Will he be forgiven considering that he is poor, his mental state is not good ?
G. Will the victim of the brutality be blamed ?
H. Why was the victim born a Hindu ? Which Article of the Constitution has given the minorities the right to kill the majority, because in this country, things are not happening as per their expectations ?
I. Should Hindus think that out of his extreme love for Sakshi, Sahil has freed her from the anguish of experiencing joy and sorrow ?
J. According to the Quran, kafirs (Infidels) have no place in heaven or in this world. Their place is in hell; therefore, are the intellectuals of our country going to think of giving full freedom to the minority community to kill the kafirs now ?
K. No matter how many Hindus are killed already, they have to face death; they should express no reaction whatsoever. In case they do express some, the claim will be – the Constitution is being undermined and Democracy is in danger. Now, because of the frequent killings of Hindus, Democracy has reached the pinnacle of peace; therefore, will parties be thrown in celebration ?
L. Are the witnesses to this brutal murder, who did not retaliate or apprehend Sahil, going to be honoured with some ‘Ideal Citizen’s’ Award ?
M. Hindus had to flee for their lives even from Manipur. Hindus in Kashmir had to flee too. Is the killing of Hindus in Kerala and the massacre of Hindus in Bengal after the elections a sign that the lives of minorities are in danger ?
The minds of common people are filled with such questions. There is no hope of a satisfactory answer to any of these questions; because, Hindu society is becoming progressively more impotent. Their ability to retaliate has been destroyed; and if at all they retaliate, intellectuals and rationalists will be free to immediately term it a case of ‘Hindu terror’, ‘Saffron terror’. However, these people have no tears for Sakshi; because, the girl who died is a Hindu and the killer is a Muslim. Muslims practice their religion and preserve their traditions; and millions will come forward to praise them for that.
3. The Government must take measures to protect the life of the Hindu community
There are lakhs of rationalists in our country who take the stand that – ‘When Idol-breakers enter Hindu temples and try to offer chaddars there, they are merely following their tradition’.
Our questions to them will be – From when did such traditions start ? When did Idol breakers become Idol worshippers ?
However, people who think like this do not have any answers to such questions. By ignoring this truth, Hindus can neither lead a normal life and nor will their death be natural. Do the so-called rationalists here want the Hindu society to live in such a bizarre dilemma ?
Such questions are never-ending. The Government should take concrete measures to make the life of the majority Hindu community easier and safer. Therefore, drastic steps are inevitable. Else, Hindus will have to rot in the darkness of foreign rule again. They should remember that even the Hindu rationalists who take the side of Muslims today, will not be spared from the suffering then.
