As Karnataka still has cow slaughter law, do not sacrifice that particular animal !

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Maulana Mufti Ifteqar Qasmi, the president of the Karnataka chapter of Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind has advised Muslims that though the Government has changed in Karnataka, cow slaughter law promulgated by BJP is still in force. Hence, do not sacrifice that particular animal. Maulana Qasmi said that the particular animal is worshipped by a large section of the society who consider her as Gomata. As there is a law against slaughtering this particular animal, do not sacrifice it. We should not create legal hassle. And do not give a chance to those who want to create nuisance on Bakri Eid day.

Hindus know that though there is a law, religious fanatics continue to slaughter the cow. Therefore, it cannot be taken for granted that such statement will stop cow slaughter. It will be necessary for Gorakshak to observe how sprightly this law is implemented by the Karnataka Congress Government.
