Raipur (Chhattisgarh) – Hindu Rashtra does not give the same thrill that you experience while saying Ram Rajya. We do not desire for Hindu Rashtra, we desire for Ram Rajya. Ravan and Kansa also had Hindu Rashtra, but people suffered a lot then/during their reign. Ram Rajya was the only ideal one. We need to establish a new Rajya, then why do not we discuss Ram Rajya ? Justice will prevail only in Ram Rajya, stated Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati while conversing with journalists here.

Shankaracharya said further, at the time of independence Scholars formulated the Constitution with detailed discussion. They had accepted the concept of secularism. Now if the public is not satisfied noticing that their aspirations are not fulfilled, then they should discuss mutually between themselves and decide on its form. If such a form is made public then we can contemplate its positive aspects as well as negative.

The meaning of Dharmadand should be taken into account

Shankaracharya said further that in the previous Parliament behind the seat of the Chairman had ‘यतो धर्म: ततो जयः’ (Victory is where Dharma prevails) written, but its meaning was being ignored for the last 75 years. No one gave much importance to the same. Now a Dharmadand has been installed in the new Parliament, but there was no reference to it in the letters sent by the President and the Vice-president or in PM Modi’s speech. It would be historical if PM Modi implements the meaning of the symbols, otherwise, it would just remain a ritual.

Conspiracy to break the Hindu fabric

Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said that politically Adivasis are not considered to be Hindu’. We settle in cities we cannot deny that we used to be ‘Vanavasi’ (Forest dwellers). Our roots are connected to forests. We need trees, flowers, leaves and wood even today. Currently, efforts are being made to disturb the Hindu fabric through various conspiracies; but we all must maintain the ‘Unity’ amongst us.
