Rioting fanatics pelt stones at Police in Jalgaon, Maharashtra

2 Policemen injured; 18 arrested

Jalgaon (Maharashtra) – A prank of throwing eggs Religious fanatics led to arguments and finally resulted in riots. When the Police arrived and tried to pacify the religious fanatics, they pelted stones at the Police in which two Policemen got injured. The rioters damaged 4 vehicles. Police arrested 18 people. The mob was dispersed by the Police by getting additional force.

Police, on their own, lodged a complaint against 25 people for rioting and filed a case for obstructing them in carrying out their duty. Police have arrested 10–12 individuals so far including Zeeshan, Shakib Farrukh Patel, Umar aka Golu Javed Sheikh, Parvez aka Tirang Khan Yunus Khan, Rafiq Musa Patel, Sayyad Aqueeb Sayyad Wahed, Afsar Zakir Sheikh, Naeem Bandu Shikalikar, etc.
