After the theft, the thief faced many problems

Stolen jewellery returned by the theif
Bhubaneswar (Odisha) – There was a theft in ‘The Gopinath temple’ at Gopinathpur in the year 2014. God’s silver flute, umbrella, crown, silver eyes, plate, bell were stolen by the thief. At that time, the villagers had filed a complaint in the Lingaraj Police Station. The Police investigation went on for the last 9 years, but in vain. Now after 9 years, this thief himself has returned all the items stolen from the temple. He also punished himself, he has paid a fine of Rs 101 and has also paid dakshina of Rs 201. He has also written a note. In the note, he has described about the difficulties he faced after stealing God’s jewellery, and how because of this, he decided to return God’s jewellery. The identity of the thief is not yet known.
