Hindus’ two-wheeler rally attacked by radical Muslims near a mosque at Sambalpur (Odisha)

Sambalpur (Odisha) – Hanuman Jayanti coordination committee and Bajrang Dal had organised a two-wheeler rally here on 12th April. When it reached near a mosque in the Dhanupali area, stones were pelted at the rally, which resulted in violence. A case has been registered in this matter and the internet service has been suspended. Hindus had appealed for a bandh on 14th April.


The rally was attended by 1,000 two-wheeler riders. They were chanting ‘Jai Shriram’ and ‘Jai Hanuman’. When the rally approached the mosque, around 200 radical Muslims attacked them and started abusing them. Muslims were equipped with swords, iron rods and wooden sticks and they were shouting ‘Will cut you’, ‘Will not let you return to India’.
