Delhi BJP leader gunned down in own office, killers escape on a motorbike

New Delhi – Surendra Matiala, BJP leader here (60) was murdered in his office by unknown assailants. The incident occurred on 14th April at around 5 p.m. Bindapur Police have registered a crime against the unknown assailants and are searching for them.

As per the information received Surendra Matiala was sitting in his office with a relative and workers in his office. At that time, two unknown assailants opened the door of the office and shot at Surendra Matiala with five bullets. Although he was rescued and taken to a hospital immediately, he was declared dead on reaching the hospital. Receiving this news, the Police officers accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner, reached the crime scene and commenced investigating the case. Matiala was the leader of BJPs District Najafgarh Kisan Morcha. Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang is said to have been involved in this murder.
