National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah’s biased toward the cruel Muslim invaders
Srinagar – The History of the Mughals has been deleted from the school textbooks. But how can people forget the Mughals who ruled India for 800 years ? History cannot be changed, was the nondescript opinion of National Conference President Farooq Abdullah. ‘NCERT’ (The National Council of Educational Research and Training) has deleted the lesson eulogising the Mughals in Class 12th’s History, Hindi, and Civics. Abdullah was replying to the journalists’ questions on this issue.

Abdullah added that how can Babar, Akbar, Shahjahan, Aurangzeb, and Jahangir be forgotten ? When people come to see the Taj Mahal, who built it ? What will you say ? How will you hide the history of the Red Fort ? History will always remain whether we are there or not there.
Many Muslim leaders have opposed the deletion of the chapters about the Mughals by the NCERT. Samajwadi Party’s MP Iqbal Masood while expressing his opposition had said ‘Mughal history is taught worldwide. Deleting their history from the textbooks will not be able to serve the objective. It will be of no use whatsoever.
