China involved in illegal fishing in the Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZ) of over 80 countries !

Indian Officers have a suspicion that they are spying !

New Delhi – Many incidents of Chinese ships illegally fishing in the Northern part of the Indian Ocean have been observed. Indian officers have expressed the view that this is China’s attempt to spy, and they have done this earlier too. Not only this China’s ‘Distant Water Fishing’ fleet is fishing in the waters of 80 countries. This shocking news was exposed in a recent report by an organisation named ‘Policy Research Group’.

1. According to this organisation’s report about 18,000 Chinese ships are illegally fishing in the world’s seas and oceans. It should be noted that China is the world’s leading ‘Sea Food’ Manufacturer.

2. Twelve Lakh Tonnes is China’s yearly ‘Sea Food production. It is double that of Indonesia’s production. Indonesia is the 2nd highest producer of ‘Sea Food’. Hence ‘Policy Research Group’ has accused this activity of China is having an adverse effect on the environment. And that this is having an adverse effect on the local economies of these countries.

3. Numerous Chinese ships are fishing in Indian, Sri Lankan, Iranian, and Oman’s waters. In the year 2021 about 392 unregistered Chinese Ships were seen in the Indian Ocean. In 2020 the number had been 379.

4. If only Iran is considered then China has fished and taken 46,000 tonnes from the Seas around Iran.

5. Last year China’s spy ship entered Sri Lankan Waters. This alerted India.

This is how cunning China is cheating the nations of the world

  • Cunning China does not allow its ships to fish in its own waters. But allows them to illegally fish in the waters of the African Continent, and in the exclusive economic zones of other countries around the Indian Ocean.
  • When they enter foreign waters and those countries become suspicious these cunning Chinese cheat them and run away from there. When the ship is caught in the suspicion of a foreign country, they turn off their electrical equipment and machines hiding the ship from the radars of that country.
