Action was taken after filing a complaint !

Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) – The Mathura administration has disconnected the power supply to the Shahi Eidgah Masjid at Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi. A case has also been registered against the administration of the mosque. The secretary of the Shahi Eidgah Masjid Committee Tanseer Ahmed has also been fined Rs 3 lakh.

An illegal electricity supply was connected to the mosque. This action has been taken after a complaint was lodged by the Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nirman Trust. The administration said that this action has been taken as part of the ongoing campaign against illegal electricity connections in the State.
