Parliament adjourned for the day due to ruckus created over the Hindenburg report

New Delhi – On the 2nd of February, the opposition in both houses of the Parliament created a ruckus over the report given by the Hindenburg Institute of America against the Indian industrialist Gautam Adani. Due to this ruckus, both houses were suspended till 2 p.m. When an attempt was made to resume another ruckus caused both the houses to adjourn for the day. The opposition has demanded a formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee based on this report.

Editorial viewpoint

There is an urgent need for a law to recover the loss of lakhs of rupees spent in running the Parliament from those who disrupt the functioning of Parliament. Further such people should also be barred from getting a ticket to become MPs in future !
