Ancestors of Prophet Mohammad and Jesus were orthodox Hindus ! : Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalananda Saraswati

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) – In a programme here on 31^st January, Shankaracharya Jagadguru Swami Nishchalananda Saraswati of Purvamnaya Govardhan Peetha in Puri, Odisha, said that the ancestors of Prophet Mohammad and Jesus Christ were Sanatani Hindus. The members of the opposition party in the US had said in their Parliament that ‘the ancestors of Prophet Mohammad and Jesus Christ were orthodox Hindus’. Shankaracharya ji has made this clear by citing the aforementioned example.

Government should not control Temples and Muths

Shankaracharya ji added that Hindu temples and Muths should not be controlled by the Government. Temple money should not be spent for developmental works.

The Jagannath Puri Temple has 7 treasuries of gems – the keys of 4 Treasuries were suddenly lost 38 years ago. While speaking on this issue, He said, “The Odisha Government and the Jagannath Temple administration have not discussed anything with me in this regard. Why should I interfere in the affairs of these Treasuries ?”

It is our responsibility to keep the Earth and its environment clean

When asked about the recent landslide in Joshimath, Shankaracharya ji said that it is our responsibility to keep the Earth and its environment clean. Everyone should understand the meaning of ‘Development’ and the context around it. Earth, water and air are sources of energy. There is no need to undertake developmental work everywhere.

India will be declared a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ in 31/2 years !

Shankaracharya ji said in the Hindu Rashtra Adhiveshan organised in His pandal during the Magha Mela at Prayagraj, that the discussion of declaring India a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is going on in the US Parliament too.

There are forces working to prevent India from being declared a ‘Hindu Rashtra’. I know who they are. I want to tell them they will never succeed in their efforts. A period of 31/2 years has been fixed to declare India a ‘Hindu Rashtra’. After this, India will be declared a ‘Hindu Rashtra’.
