Provocative slogans were written against Brahmins and Vaishyas on the walls of JNU

New Delhi – On the evening of 1st December, slogans against Brahmins and Vaishyas were written on the walls of several buildings of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Also, the building of the ‘School of International Studies’ was vandalised. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has alleged that the communists are behind this act.

The slogans on the wall read ‘Brahmin parisar chhodo raktpath hoga’ (Brahmins leave this area, otherwise there will be bloodshed) and ‘Brahmin Bharat chhodo, baniya hum tumhare pas badla lene aa rahe hai’. (Brahmins leave India, Vaishyas we are coming to take our revenge.) Slogans were also written on some of the professors’ cabins which said ‘Join the Shakha of the RSS rather than a university’. Its pictures have been widely circulated on social media.

Editorial viewpoint

JNU University is notoriously famous for its Hindu hatred. But it does not end here, it is also alleged that anti-national activities are carried out on its campuses. Communist students work hard to spread hatred in society by writing such slogans. This university which runs through the crores of rupees received as funds from the Government has to be closed at any cost ! The time has now come for the Central Government to show this courage !
