Surguja (Chhattisgarh) – Addressing a Sangh event for swayamsevaks, RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr H.H. Mohan Bhagwat said ‘since 1925 we have been telling that everyone living in this country is a Hindu. Everyone who considers India as their motherland and respects and adopts its culture of unity and diversity, irrespective of whatever religion, culture, language, food habits and ideology they follow, are Hindus.’

He further stated that today we all might feel we are different but we are all the same, the DNA of all Indians is the same and we had common ancestors. Science has also said that the DNA of the entire landmass from Kabul in the west to the Chindwin River in the east, from Tibet in the north to Sri Lanka in the south is 40,000 years old. Those ancestors have taught us all our present prayers, languages and eating habits. Hence, we should stay connected with our ancient threads.
