Hindus contribute 40% of donations to build Mosque in Ayodhya

Ayodhya (UP) – While giving the verdict of the Shriramjanmabhoomi case, 5-acre land was sanctioned for the Muslim party to build a mosque in Ayodhya. Thereafter, the 5-acre land was handed over to Muslims by the UP Government to build the mosque. Its construction is going on. Whatever donations are being given, 40% are from Hindus, 30% from establishments and 30% from Muslims.

1. Atahar Hussain, the secretary of the trust of the mosque said that while checking the bank accounts in August 2020, we got donations of Rs 40 lakh; out of which 30% were from Muslims, 30% from establishments and 40% were received from Hindus.

2. According to the information from the trust, among the number of secret donors, Hindus were in greater numbers. The first 11 donors happened to be Hindus.

Editorial viewpoints

  • On one side Muslims were not releasing the claim over the Babri Masjid. In such circumstances, there is no way to know what Hindus want to show by giving money to build another mosque.
  • It should be disclosed how many Muslims have donated to the temple at Shriramjanmabhoomi. So from that Hindus will know what ‘they were doing ?’
